Growing up in Montseny, near Barcelona, Andreu Lacondeguy began his journey in the world of extreme sports at a young age. Starting with Four-Cross racing at ten, he quickly showcased his talent by becoming a regional champion. His passion led him to explore BMX and downhill mountain biking, securing a contract with Team Maxxis at just 15. Alongside his brother, Lluís, also a professional mountain biker, Andreu honed his skills in California, blending his freestyle motocross experience with freeride mountain biking.

Throughout his career, Andreu has achieved remarkable milestones. In 2008, he clinched victory at Crankworx Whistler, becoming one of the first to land a double backflip on a mountain bike in competition. His versatility was evident in 2013 when he earned a bronze medal in the Mountain Bike Slopestyle event at the Munich X-Games. The pinnacle of his career came in 2014 when he won the prestigious Red Bull Rampage, further cementing his legacy in the sport. Beyond competitions, Andreu co-founded the Fest Series in 2015 with fellow riders, revolutionizing freeride events
