Kyle McNicol, a Scottish motocross talent, emerged as a formidable competitor in the early 2020s. After a developmental year with GRT Holeshot KTM in 2020, he transitioned to Verde Sports Racing KTM for the 2021 season, focusing on the MX2 British Championship and MX Nationals. His dedication bore fruit with a notable 4th place finish at the Revo ACU British Motocross Championship in 2021.
In April 2022, McNicol faced a significant setback due to a serious road traffic accident, leading to an extended recovery period. Demonstrating resilience, he returned to competitive racing, joining the SAS TPC KTM team for the 2024 season. His commitment to the sport is further evidenced by his participation in events like the Monster Mountain Cup, signalling a promising trajectory in his professional motocross career.
