In 2021, Grimshaw expanded his horizons by competing in the EMX250 European Championship, gaining invaluable experience on international tracks.

In 2024, Grimshaw transitioned to the MX1 class, joining the Apico Honda Racing team alongside veteran rider Martin Barr. This move signifies his progression to the premier class, where he continues to demonstrate his dedication and skill.
